1. Who we are

StaffMonitor SAS (“StaffMonitor”, “we”, “us”) operates staffmonitor.fr. This policy covers two different things, and we keep them separate on purpose:

  • data we collect from visitors to this marketing site and waitlist signups, and
  • data the StaffMonitor product itself will process once it ships, on behalf of the organizations that deploy it (where we act as a processor, not a controller).

2. This website

This site does not use cookies or third-party trackers. The only personal data we collect here is what you submit through the waitlist form: your email address and, optionally, your company name and team size. We use it exclusively to notify you about beta access and product launch, and to understand demand by company size. We do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry at any time by emailing [email protected].

3. The product, once it ships

StaffMonitor is designed to process workplace activity data (application usage, active/idle time, and optionally screenshots) under the instructions of the organization that deploys it, typically an employer monitoring its own staff or contractors. In that relationship, the employer is the data controller and StaffMonitor is the data processor. A data processing agreement (DPA) will be available to every customer at launch, covering retention, sub-processors, and international transfer safeguards.

We do not use customer workspace data to train models, for advertising, or for any purpose outside providing the service to that customer.

4. Data residency

Workspace data is stored on servers located in the EU by default. A US residency option is planned for customers who require it. This policy will be updated with specific sub-processor and hosting details before general availability.

5. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR to access, rectify, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. For waitlist data, contact [email protected]. For data processed by the product on behalf of an employer, your rights request should generally be directed to that employer, who may route it to us as their processor.

6. Changes

We will revise this policy as the product moves from private beta to general availability, particularly section 3 once sub-processors and infrastructure are finalized. Material changes will be announced to waitlist subscribers by email.
